In My Mailbox (13)

Thanks to Kristi at The Story Siren for hosting In My Mailbox every week.

Books Purchased:

I'm still doing well with my book buying ban - 2 weeks in a row now with no book purchases!  That must be some kid of a record for me LOL.  I have a feeling that I'm going to break my ban next week though - it's my birthday though so I must be allowed to treat myself :o)

Birthday Gifts:
Since we're going to be on holiday for my birthday I got to open my presents from my Mum a little early.  She got me Original Sin by Tasmina Perry and The Best of Times by Penny Vincenzi.  I've read books by both of these authors in the past so I'm sure I'll enjoy both of these.

Library Finds:

  1. Generation 18 - Keri Arthur
  2. The Devil's Due - Jenna Black

Competition Prizes:
I received a copy of A Local Habitation by Seanan McGuire from Rebecca at Dirty Sexy Books & I can't wait to read it.  I've heard great things about the October Daye series & this is book 2 so I need to get hold of book 1 asap!

For Review:
I received the thriller Blood Harvest by S.J. Bolton this week & it looks like it's going to be a fantstic read.  It's been a while since I read a thriller so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into this one!  Thanks to Transworld Publishers for sending me a copy.

What was in your mailbox this week?

Just to remind you, I'm on holiday this week.  I'm taking my laptop with me but I have a feeling I'm not going to get signal so I probably won't get back online until I get home.  I will reply to any comments & return the visit but it might not be until after Easter when I'm back :o)

  5. @ Rhiana - I've not read much chick lit recently so I'm looking forward to these :o)

    @ Jo - Thanks - I hope you had a fab week!

@ Nina - I don't think I've ever seen Lipstick Jungle, would you recommend it? It doesn't mention anything about it on the cover so I think it's a different story.

@ Wings - I usually give my family a list for my birthday but this year I'd asked my Mum for clothes & money but she saw these & thought I'd like them. I was very impressed with her choices & she managed to get books I've not already got which is quite a miracle LOL
