In My Mailbox (15)

Thanks to Kristi at The Story Siren for hosting In My Mailbox every week.

Books Purchased:
  1. Shift by Rachel Vincent (I'm so excited to get my hands on this, I absolutely love the Shifters series & am really looking forward to this!)
  2. Murphy's Law, Murphy's Revenge and Cycle of Violence by Colin Bateman (These were actually Ant's purchases really but I'm sure I'll read them too eventually.  Ant is definitely on a Colin Bateman kick at the moment as you can probably tell from the last couple mailboxes!)
Competition Prizes:
I won a copy of WE by John Dickinson from Book Chick City and a copy of Blue Diablo from author Ann Aguirre after a giveaway she did on Twitter.  I'm really looking forward to reading both of these!

For Review:
I received a copy of Hand of Fate by Lis Wiehl & April Henry from BookSneeze.  If you've not heard of BookSneeze before it is a website that provides free books to book bloggers for review - it is open internationally and all you need to do is sign up.  I've actually already read Hand of Fate so the review will be posted in the next couple of days - it was an excellent read & I'll definitely be looking for more from these authors!
I received a copy of eBook Winterborn from author A.D. Roland.  This is a supernatural thriller & I'm really looking forward to reading it!
I was due to attend the Headline Meets Online blogger event a couple of weeks ago and was really disappointed that I couldn't make it due to a family emergency.  I enjoyed reading everyone's blog posts about the event & hopefully I'll be able to attend the next one and get to meet everyone!  I was really excited when my contact at Headline told me she was sending me a goodie bag from the event - especially when I saw the contents.  Along with a great bag I'll be able to use when I'm shopping she included Lex Trent versus the Gods by Alex Bell, Nina Jones and the Temple of Gloom by Julie Cohen, Johannes Cabal the Necromancer by Jonathan L. Howard and Flirt by Laurel K. Hamilton.  I'd like to say a massive thank you to my contact at Headline for sending these to me and I'm really looking forward to reading them all!

What was in your mailbox this week?

  3. Great books this week Sarah! I'm slighly jealous that you got Shift. I am loving the Shifters series, but I'm only up to Pride (I'm waiting rather impatiently for it to get to the library). Have a great week :)

  5. @ Dwayne - Thanks, I'm really looking forward to reading them all! Booksneeze does tend to have quite a few business books & Christian books which don't appeal to me but may to you. They do have thrillers & others pop up occasionally, I think it was over a month from when I registered before I requested my first book. You're only able to request 1 book at a time so pick carefully. Also postage to the UK is a little slow so it may take a couple of weeks from when you send the request. I hope they have some books you like :o)

@ Serpentine Librarian - I can't wait to read Shift! The Shifters series is one of my favorite so I hope you enjoy the ones you've not read yet :o) I have a few books that I've got on order from the library where I'm about 10th in the queue - so frustrating isn't it LOL. I do love the library though & it's saved me a fortune so far this year!

@ Chrissie - Thanks :o) Hope you have a fab week!
