Mo
25th August 1999 to 6th April 2011
I know this post is completely away from the topic of books and probably holds absolutely no interest to any of my followers but today I'm devastated after losing my beautiful girl and I wanted something to remember her by. I'll never know exactly how old Mo was since she was a rescue cat when she came to live with me but we had 12 good years together & I'll never forget her.
Me & my baby
When she came to live with me she was the biggest wuss you could ever come across - she was even frightened of my hamster who was only about 3 inches big! She was very nervous around people for a long time but with a lot of love she became the friendliest cat you could ever meet & everyone who met her fell in love with her. She wasn't very impressed when Cassie came to live with us 3 years ago but they grew to love each other like sisters and poor Cass seems just as upset as I am today.
Cassie & Mo
As I'm sure you can understand I'm not really in the mood for blogging at the moment (or even reading for that matter) so I'm going to take a couple of days off. It will be a bit quiet around here for a few days but I'll be back soon & I hope you'll all bear with me.
I'm sorry you lost her, but at least (as you said) you had 12 lovely years with her! She sounds like she must have been a wonderful kitty and she looks so cute in the photos.
ReplyDeleteHope you're ok and that the fact that she didn't suffer alleviates your sadness a little.

ReplyDeleteNo matter how long we have with our animals, it's never enough. From what you said, and from the photos, it looks like Mo was one lucky cat to have found you to make her permanent home with.
