    My Challenge Updates:

So I didn't do as well as I'd hoped in my 2012 challenges, although I completed a few of them others I failed miserably! I have definitely noticed that my reading tastes have been changing this year, for the last few years I've been on a real paranormal kick reading a huge amount of urban fantasy and paranormal romance. While I do still love those genres I have been on a real contemporary romance kick in the later half of this year. In fact I think I've reviewed more contemporary romance on the blog in the last 6 months than I have in the previous 2.5 years! My reading tends to go in phases so I wouldn't be surprised if the contemp kick lasts a while longer yet - I can't seem to get my hands on enough of them at the moment! I'm also loving the selection of new adult romances that are currently flooding the market.

    2012 Debut Author Challenge - Read 50/50 - COMPLETE
    2012 Read 100 Books in a Year Challenge - Read 200/200 - COMPLETE
    2012 New Author Challenge - Read 100/100 - COMPLETE
2012 Sookie Stackhouse Read-A-Long - Read 2/12 - I have decided to quit this challenge, I didn't enjoy either of the first 2 books so it seems silly to force myself to carry on reading them!

I haven't signed up for my 2013 challenges yet but I'm planning on doing that in the next couple of days. I'm probably going to try signing up for less challenges this year but I still want to take part in a few. Of course I can't host the 2013 British Books Challenge without joining it myself so if nothing else I'll definitely be signing up for that one!
