Review:
I don't think it's possible for me to review any book in this series and do it justice. I've just loved the books for so long and have spent so many hours reading and re-reading them, not to mention watching the movies, visiting the studios, doing the London walking tour and a trip to the castle they used as Hogwarts in the earlier films. Yes, it's fair to say I'm a Harry Potter fan girl and have been for a VERY long time now!

The series captured my imagination like no other has before or after and that is all down to J.K. Rowling's fabulous world building and the wonderful characters she created. Just thinking about the amount of detail she put into these stories is astounding and now that I'm going back and re-reading them for the umpteenth time I'm spotting all these little hints and clues that I only notice because I know what's going to come later on in the series. It's actually been a long time since I re-read the series and I only ever read the last couple of books once so there are bound to be loads of surprises along the way. I'm so glad I decided to join the massive group read organised by Cory (even though I'm already over a week behind LOL).

As if it wasn't awesome enough that we had broomsticks and Quidditch in the first book here we are introduced to flying cars and travel by Floo powder! I loved getting to spend more time with the Weasleys and visiting the Burrow but I think one of my favourite thing about Chamber of Secrets is the introduction of Dobby. He's always been one of my most loved characters and he never fails to make me smile, I actually think I want to adopt him! This is just such a fun series to read, I want to dive right into the world so I can be friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione and learn magic alongside them and I can't wait to continue the adventure in Prisoner of Azkaban which is one of my favourite books in the series.
